Miriah Meyer, PhD
I am a postdoctoral research fellow in the Initiative in Innovative Computing at Harvard, working with Hanspeter Pfister. I received my PhD in computer science from the University of Utah in 2008, where I worked in Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute, and my BS in astronomy from Penn State University in 1999.
My research focuses on the synergistic relationship of visualization and interaction for enabling scientific discovery from large, multidimensional data. Currently I am working with data coming from the field of genomics. I am also interested in volume visualization and processing, and, more specifically, methods for sampling surfaces using dynamic particle systems.
